Privacy policy.

I’m Charlotte McGinn, the person behind Ambitious Autoimmune Girlies (“AAG”). This policy covers autoimmunegirlies.com, the practice-update mailing list, and messages you send to the contact address below.

Information you share

When you join the mailing list, I collect your name and email address. I also record when you signed up, the version of the signup wording you agreed to, and whether you opted into a brief feedback conversation.

I use these details to send occasional AAG practice news, advocacy resources, and notice when patient intake opens. If you select the feedback checkbox, I may contact you about what you’d want from patient advocacy. If you email me, I use your address and message to respond.

The signup form is for updates. Please don’t submit medical information through it or send medical records to the contact address below. Joining does not book an appointment or establish a client relationship.

Website data and cookies

Vercel, the website’s host, processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs to deliver and protect the site. I haven’t added advertising trackers or analytics cookies to this website.

The AAG Substack and other websites linked here have their own privacy policies. Joining this mailing list does not subscribe you to Substack.

Storage and sharing

Vercel hosts the site, and Neon stores the mailing-list database in the United States. Access to signup records is restricted to me and authorized service providers. Private Slack signup alerts contain the signup time and a database link, without your name, email address, or feedback preference.

I use service providers to support the site, storage, and communications. I don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Information may also be disclosed if required by law.

I keep your signup while the list is active, unless you ask to leave or have it deleted. Removal deletes your active signup and its notification record; service backups may retain copies until they expire. I limit access to the information I keep, but no online system can promise complete security.

Before connecting a mailing service, I’ll identify it here. Updates sent through that service will include an unsubscribe link.

Choices and contact

For privacy questions, or to request access, a correction, deletion, removal from the list, or an end to feedback contact, email advocacy@autoimmunegirlies.com. Please use the address you signed up with so I can verify your request.

You can withdraw permission for a feedback conversation while staying on the updates list.

Changes to this policy

I’ll revise this page as the practice develops and update the date above. Before introducing new ways of collecting or using personal information, I’ll explain them here and ask for any additional permission needed.
